In Case You Missed It: Alchemy of Pain Ritual to Carry Out On Your Own

In Case You Missed It: Alchemy of Pain Ritual to Carry Out On Your Own

Many people expressed that they wished to be at the Alchemy of Pain ritual held by the Strega Tree Collective last week but had conflicting events on their schedule or they were not well enough to come out to the park. Therefore, we are offering a version of it here for you to do yourself or with others.

A note from Theresa on her experience at the ritual:

Strega Tree diviners often say that the style of divination we do is “prescriptive.” This means that rituals are given for the client to carry out on their own based on issues that are diagnosed by the wedeme and kontomble.

I cannot emphasize enough how this is the magic of this style of divination that the Dagara people of Burkina Faso are so generous to share with us. These “hand-crafted” and personalized rituals are the unique signature of this style of divination. While there is so much that comes through in the divinations themselves, you only feel the full power when you carry out the ritual prescriptions.

After being engaged with this work for 13 years, it still surprises, delights and impresses me.

Hey Spirit Worker, Your Village has a Membrane that Needs Care and the book to help you learn how to do that is now available in ebook format!

If the living world is made up of lifesystems contained within nested and layered membranes, the importance of the spirit worker attending to the village membrane cannot be underestimated.

What do I mean by spirit worker, village and membrane?

By spirit worker, I mean any human who is called to work on the energetic and spiritual level, with the unseen realms and mostly unseen guides for the purpose of healing, spreading light or affecting change.

Very simply the membrane is the bioenergetic container, boundary, barrier, skin, that protects what is inside from that which is outside. The membrane is permeable, with an intelligence and discernment to decide what gets in and what stays out. The membrane acts as a filter, shield and gatekeeper for what is within the membrane. All lifesystems have membranes from the simple cell to the multicellular, to the complex lifesystems we humans are embedded within. Without a healthy membrane the interior cannot thrive.

A Podcast Interview with Theresa C. Dintino

Recently I was interviewed for the Twisting the Plot Podcast. You can listen to that interview here.  Twisting the Plot: New Possibilities for Women over 50. is the brainchild of Dr.Cecilia Dintino and Hannah Murray, both psychotherapists with years of experience in many modalities including Drama Therapy, who noticed when they reached a certain age that there was no roadmap for women over 50. Or … the ones that existed were less than exciting.
