The wedeme very often focus on what I call “heart healings” in divinations. They seem to be masters of this art and offer a lot of their energy to this. I have long been impressed and have wondered over this.
Recently in a divination the wedeme explained to me that one of the reasons why they are so focused on our hearts and heart healings is because the “cracks” in our hearts are places that allow us to hurt others. These cracks in our hearts are mirrored in the interior of the Earth. Where we hurt, She hurts. They are also what allow us to hurt and do damage to the Earth.
When we are mean or cruel to one another, this emerges from the wounds in our hearts. This is very difficult for the wedeme. It hurts them deeply when we are hurting. They feel it in their bodies and the body of the Earth and don’t know how to help us. However, by healing the cracks in our hearts, the places inside us scarred from previous wounding, they can help us to not hurt others and perpetuate further hurt. And that is why they are so committed to healing our hearts. If they can heal our hearts, there is less chance we will hurt the hearts of others, and that makes the Earth a safer place for them.
For me, this is an important teaching. We are at a crucial place in our evolution as a species. This kind of thinking requires us to take radical responsibility for our own actions. Can we examine the places inside ourselves that are wounded and allow us to wound others?
We must look at these places with compassion and kindness and ask ourselves to clean them up. The cycle of pain will not end unless we do so. As long as we are in pain and carry that pain around with us, we are a danger to others. We are sensitive beings who can be easily hurt, but when we allow our wounds to fester and go unhealed, we are not taking responsibility for the pain we may cause others.
