More juicy time together working with the theme of Emergent Ambition.
The Dictionary definition of Emergence is 1.The Process of coming into view or becoming exposed after being concealed. 2. The process of coming into being, or of becoming important or prominent. Latin: Bring to light. Mid 17th century: an unforeseen occurrence.
In systems theory: “Emergence is the way complex systems and patterns arise out of a multiplicity of relatively simple interactions.” Nick Obolensky
We are concerned with understanding how our dreams, visions, goals emerge organically out of who we are and the complex tapestries of our lives rather than being forced or pushed or imposed. We want to tap into the emergent patterns that are arising from within the deep core of our essence as well as the culture at large. How to interact with this, and collaborate to have a seamless experience of becoming who we truly are.
We are not resources and our dreams are not resources. They are offerings, gifts, response.
“Birds don’t make a plan to migrate, raising resources to fund their way, packing for scarce times, mapping out their pit stops. They feel a call in their bodies that they must go, and they follow it, responding to each other, each bringing their adaptations.
There is an art to flocking: staying separate enough not to crowd each other, aligned enough to maintain a shared direction, and cohesive enough to always move towards each other. (Responding to destiny together.) Destiny is a calling that creates a beautiful journey.
Emergence is beyond what the sum of its parts could even imagine.
A group of caterpillars or nymphs might not see flight in their future, but it’s inevitable.
It’s destiny.”
