Sarah was initiated as a diviner in 2013. She felt called to the work initially during a Vision Quest in Death Valley and the teachers then “magically appeared.” During her first divination as a client, she felt an immediate recognition of her greater purpose. She has worked with her mentor, Theresa Dintino to use the tools of the Dagara tradition to expand the story of how this African technology can benefit Turtle Island. Sarah feels that her work is to read the alignment of an individual or a place as it sits in relation to the Earth and to the stars. She is looking for the kinks that can throw off the balance.

The wedeme and kontomble realms offer rituals to allow an individual’s vibration to be recalibrated so that the client can walk in alignment with hers/his own soul’s purpose. Often the divinations are healings from your own elemental allies. Your light body becomes activated in the divinatory space. Sarah loves that the rituals that come through personal divinations can help enliven the connection between the client and the Earth and her elements. She believes that through this work we can heal ourselves and our planet.

Through her work as a hospice volunteer, Sarah has had the opportunity to gain skills as a Death Midwife. She feels that this field deserves as much attention as birth and sees birth and death as doorways to the other realm. While sitting vigil at a dying client’s bedside, Sarah calls in the same energies that she works with during divination to help guide the “soul” through the portal. She believes that the more care that is taken to transitioning out of the world, the sooner the individual can become an ancestor.

She can be contacted to help as a death coach to help release fear around passing so that the time remaining in life is most abundant. Sarah has a BS in Natural Resources from Cornell University. She has worked as a wilderness guide and outdoor educator. Sarah is also a florist and loves creating art from the natural world for special events. She carries this affinity into working with indoor spaces and helping to design interiors.

Sarah’s training as a Master Hypnotist allows her to lead clients on journeys to have their own experiences with guides and ancestors. These sessions can be helpful to the inner child aspect that might not have received the loving care that we all deserve. Sarah is also certified in the Emotional Freedom Technique. EFT is a somatic therapy that can free trauma that has been stored in the body. It is like pushing a reset button and can restore the natural flow of energy through the body. This can be a useful accompaniment to divination for anyone who struggles with negative self-talk.
