Learn to Become a Spiritual Caretaker of Your Community and the Earth

Divination is about so much more than one on one interpersonal dialogue. Divination is community medicine. Divination has a much larger role it wishes to play within communities and with the earth. Divination has a public component that is wanting to be explored. It’s time to take it to the community.

There is a wholeness to the medicine that wishes to be articulated.

The Strega Tree Collective has for many years been working on the land with the local spirits and sacred spaces that need tending for the good of the whole. Now we are offering a class to teach others to learn these methods and techniques. The class, taught by Theresa C. Dintino, is based on her newest book: Membranes of Hope.

A Podcast Interview with Theresa C. Dintino

Recently I was interviewed for the Twisting the Plot Podcast. You can listen to that interview here.  Twisting the Plot: New Possibilities for Women over 50. is the brainchild of Dr.Cecilia Dintino and Hannah Murray, both psychotherapists with years of experience in many modalities including Drama Therapy, who noticed when they reached a certain age that there was no roadmap for women over 50. Or … the ones that existed were less than exciting.

Finding Your Tree Allies

Finding Your Tree Allies

Many people are finding tree allies these days. It seems at this time on the planet the trees have much to say to humans. If you feel drawn to the trees but don’t know where to begin, here is a simple way to get started on deepening your relationship with them.

First, know that even trees that have been cut down are still here in spirit form. If there is a stump that is calling to you, do not disregard it. The spirit of the tree may still be there wanting to interact with you.

To form a relationship with one or more trees, begin by noticing which trees want to speak to you. You will know this by the trees you find yourself attracted to. Once you determine which tree or trees this is, make an offering of milk at the base of the tree. Tell the tree you wish to begin to form a relationship with it and if it has things to tell you, you are open to listening.

Membranes of Hope: A Guide to Attending to the Spiritual Boundaries that Keep Lifesystems Healthy from the Personal to the Cosmic
by Theresa C. Dintino

“I write to figure things out. This was proving to be true once again. The push for us to work with the membranes is because of this: The soul of things are at risk.

All of life is alive and ensouled. And the earth is as well. She has many membranes that surround and protect her interiority, her soul. By tending to and caring for her soul, we support and strengthen her membranes.”

Developing a Daily Shamanic Walk

Developing a Daily Shamanic Walk

The most successful way for accessing what I call the shamanic realm are long, repetitive walks. It takes a while to develop a shamanic walk. You must walk the same walk with only some slight variation at least four times a week for a couple months before it can get to the point where you can begin to listen. In walking the same path everyday for an extended time, the environment, the way, the rhythm, become second nature so that there is nothing unexpected to worry about, no unknowns to wonder about, allowing you to relax and be deeply present to what is there, without and within.
